Aguachile Verde Cookbook

Editorial Design & Photography

Designed a dual-language cookbook featuring aguachile with photography I captured. The design incorporates a couple of elements of Mexican culture, while the layout and typography prioritize clarity and readability for use while cooking. To create a clear distinction in the layout, the Spanish text is set at a lower opacity, subtly differentiating it from the English content without disrupting readability. The colors of aguachile inspired the color palette. Decorative typefaces such as Firlest were used for the title to evoke a vibrant, expressive tone inspired by Mexican visuals. Parkside, a script font, complements this by adding a sense of warmth while maintaining legibility.
